"The Luscious
God", as he calls himself, has exploded into the history books of not
only NWA Tri-State, but the National Wrestling Alliance itself.
Luscious Rocky Reynolds won the NWA WV/OH Championship at the first-ever
television taping in a memorable ladder match, then weeks later captured
the NWA World Junior Heavyweight title. Although he lost that title
over a month later, he was awarded a title shot against legendary ECW star
Steve Corino for the NWA World Heavyweight title. Corino may have
gotten away with the belt, but Reynolds has stated he's not done holding
gold.
In early 2002, Reynolds set
the wrestling world on it's ear again when he defeated Jason Rumble for
the NWA World Junior Heavyweight championship, marking his second reign
with that belt. He is a two-time NWA Tri-State (NWA WV/OH)
Heavyweight Champion.
